FOR THE YOUTH NON PROFIT is a dedicated youth-focused nonprofit organization committed to empowering young individuals through education, mental health support, and community outreach. As we expand into Medicare services and open a new facility, we are seeking a compassionate and licensed Behavioral Health Specialist to join our growing team.
**Job Description:**
We are looking for a passionate and licensed Behavioral Health Specialist to provide high-quality care to youth clients in our new facility. The successful candidate will work closely with youth and their families to address mental health needs, behavioral concerns, and overall well-being. You will be a critical part of our multidisciplinary team, contributing to the expansion of our Medicare services while fostering a supportive and healing environment for the young people we serve.

**Responsibilities:**
1. Advisory Role – Offer guidance on policies and procedures needed for Medicare certification.
2. Program Development – Help outline mental health or behavioral services that will be part of your offerings.
3. Documentation Review – Assist in ensuring clinical documentation meets Medicare standards.
4. Policy Compliance Check – Review any existing policies to align with Medicare guidelines.
5. Staff Training Assistance – Help provide basic training to ensure your team understands behavioral health integration.
6. Community Networking – Connect with other professionals to establish partnerships for future referrals.
7. Resource Development – Help create educational materials or frameworks for behavioral health programming.
FULL TIME/PART TIME
- Provide behavioral health assessments and therapeutic services to youth clients.
- Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and families.
- Deliver evidence-based therapy and counseling, including individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
- Work with other professionals in our multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
- Support clients in managing behavioral health challenges and achieving positive outcomes.
- Stay updated with the latest therapeutic techniques and best practices in the behavioral health field.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client progress and treatment plans.
**Qualifications:**
- Must be a licensed Behavioral Health Professional (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent).
- At least 0 years of experience providing mental health services, particularly with youth.
- Knowledge of Medicare regulations and experience working with youth in a therapeutic capacity is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Commitment to providing culturally competent care and ensuring a positive and safe space for youth.
- Ability to pass background checks and work in compliance with state and federal regulations.
