Job Summary :
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Dog Walker to join our team. The Dog Walker will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of the dogs in our care while providing them with exercise and mental stimulation.
Qualifications :
Previous experience working with dogs preferred
Ability to handle various dog breeds and sizes
Physical fitness to walk for extended periods and handle dogs of different energy levels
Strong communication skills
Passion for working with animals
Ability to work independently and follow instructions
Responsibilities :
Walk dogs on scheduled routes and ensure their safety at all times
Keep track of each dog's behavior and health during walks
Ensure dogs are properly leashed and secured before and after walks
Provide basic obedience training and reinforce good behavior
Communicate with pet owners regarding their dogs' activities and behavior
Work Environment :
The Dog Walker will primarily work outdoors in various weather conditions. Flexibility with scheduling is important as walks may occur during mornings, afternoons, or evenings based on client needs.
