FB Titan is seeking an experienced, Full Time/Permanent Field Mechanic to support our project in New Mexico.
Reporting to the Fleet Manager, the Field Mechanic repairs and overhauls heavy vehicles and industrial equipment at our job sites throughout New Mexico region and in our shop.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lives Forbes Bros. value of WE WORK SAFE & never compromising on safety in all aspects of our every day.
- Troubleshoot, maintain and repair mechanical and hydraulic systems and components on a variety of equipment including but not limited to tractor-trailer units and large commercial vehicles, utility equipment.
- Conduct regular preventative maintenance tasks and inspections
- Assist with troubleshooting of electrical systems and components
- Maintain service truck and keep stocked with tools, parts and all required items
- Responsible for maintaining the service truck logbooks/Tailboards/Safety paperwork
- Responsible for creating and updating work orders within Viewpoint (Field Management system).
- Maintain shop tools and work area
- May be required to perform duties outside of normal responsibilities from time to time, as needed
What We Are Looking For:
- Heavy Equipment Technician, Heavy Equipment Technician- Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic (Off Road), Heavy Equipment Technician - Truck and Transport Mechanic.
- 3-5 years related experience in the Powerline Industry would be preferred
- Knowledge of Federal and Provincial regulations
- Good knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Service orientated with strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to deal effectively with others in a diverse environment
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage timelines effectively
- Able and willing to present a valid Driver's License and maintain an acceptable MVR.
