Desktop Support Specialist
Location: Rosemont, IL
Type: Full-Time | Permanent or Contract-to-Hire (6 months)

Travel: Occasional travel to IL plant locations (Elgin, Geneva, Milwaukee areas)
Responsibilities:
- Provision laptops and desktop hardware/software for new and existing users
- Provide hands-on desktop support and troubleshooting (Windows environment)
- Deliver white-glove support to executive team members, using non-technical language as needed
- Manage hardware and software inventory, coordinate with procurement for new IT assets
- Ensure timely resolution of tickets and incidents in line with service-level expectations
- Assist with onboarding/offboarding technology setups
- Maintain documentation of processes and solutions for knowledge base
Required Skills:
- 3 years in a desktop support or IT help desk role
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to explain technical concepts
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Experience supporting executive-level staff is a plus
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally as required
