What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assigner/Planner position at FORBO SIEGLING LLC?
Contribute to company goals and objectives by effectively assigning B_Rex's that have been planned to achieve delivery date commitments. To process and confirm Sales orders, Work orders, and do the final confirmation along with labels when order is finished and ready for shipping. To go through material of finished orders, note and or adjust inventory levels and confirm they can be moved back to the warehouse. To assist the Planner, Supervisor, and or Assemblers located material through use of SAP
The essential functions of the job include, but are not limited to:
Assigning and help Planner:
- Review B_Rex plan for mistakes and or make adjustments
- Assign material locations of Assembly use for each B_Rex plan
- Request Purchase Orders or Stock transfers from Warehouse for stock material that is needed for spacific customer orders. Will also need to keep track of said requests.
- Regularly update material status changes on the planning module as well as Customer Service, Salesman and Branch personnel
- Assign and confirm material on Work orders
- Adjust locations and or material on orders when needed
- Confirm final steps when order is complete.
- Prepair labels and attatch to original B_Rex and put with belt for Shipping
- Look over used material and adjust inventory level as needed.
- Mark material that is ready for put back.
-Prepare various memos, and emails and other correspondence as necessary

Position requires, but is not limited to the following demands/factors:
Physical:
- Primarily sedentary position with occasional walking and/or standing
- Frequent use of computer
- Frequent writing and/or use of computer keyboard for data entry
- Occasional reaching and stretching
- Speak and hear clearly and distinctly in order to verbally communicate with others
- Clarity of vision at 20 inches or less to be able to read and verify accuracy of numbers and dates
Environmental:
- Typical business office setting
Qualifications required for the job
Two to four years SAP and inventory control experience
- Ability to read and understand material specifications
- Demonstrated ability to exercise sound, independent judgment
- Effecve problem solving, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Working knowledge of computer, spreadsheets, and related applications; SAP preferred

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
