Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations at our facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical and mechanical systems, along with leadership abilities to manage a team effectively.
Duties
Schedules and oversees all maintenance-related work by managing a team of maintenance technicians
Ensures that all maintenance operations are done in accordance with company policy and OSHA guidelines
Ensuring the facility satisfies all industry regulations
Forecasting, ordering, and price negotiation for spare parts inventory
Assist in developing and implementing a (proactive) maintenance program and Total Productive Maintenance(TPM)
Coaching, training, and developing maintenance staff
Allocate workload and supervise maintenance staff
Coordinating the completion of complex repairs
Hiring subcontractors for specialized maintenance work
Looking for new ways/tools/assets to improve productivity and cut costs
Drafting maintenance & Reliability reports
Negotiate/Support contracts with outside vendors for execution of maintenance work
Manage relationships with contractors and service provider
Skills
B.S in Reliability Engineering / Maintenance Engineering, Facilities Engineering or related field or high school diploma and 6 years experience in the role of maintenance supervisor
Strong knowledge of engineering concepts, including electrical, hydraulic and mechanical
systems.
