What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operator- Roll Door position at FORBO SIEGLING LLC?
Purpose:
This entry level position ensures the prompt and correct order shipments to customers as specified on order form and verifies incoming shipments.
Responsibilities include:
- Operate computer in order to cut materials on automatic table
- Must be able to work in other areas as needed (i.e . postal and warehouse)
- Properly packing belts, accessory items or other materials to ensure they are not damaged during shipping
- Loading and/or unloading outgoing and incoming shipments as necessary
Working Conditions:
- Possible exposure to chemical vapors/odors
- May be exposed to weather
- Ability to independently operate required equipment
Qualifications:
- Fork-lift certification required
- Work with metrics/measure dimensions
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment
Acute attention to detail
Be able to lift or manage 50lbs
Ability to recognize different material types
