Part-Time Mascot Assistant

The Seattle Storm Operations Department is looking for a mascot assistant to join our game day entertainment team. The mascot assistant will work with the Storm’s official mascot, Doppler for the 2025 season.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities - to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily:

• Accompany Doppler while performing game duties and designated off-site appearances.
• Assist with taking pictures, signing autographs, and improving the overall guest experience.
• Act as the “eyes, ears, and voice” for the mascot performer, including awareness of game progression, in-game activations, stadium navigation, fan requests, and potential hazards.
• Carry mascot supplies (autograph cards, t-shirts, props, etc.).
• Assist in the maintaining the condition of the mascot costume.
• Assist mascot performer with preparation and execution of on-field skits/routines, t-shirt tosses, and provide logistical support during games and appearances.
• Communicate effectively with the game day presentation staff.
• Candidates must be available for all Seattle Storm home games.
• Other duties/responsibilities as assigned.

$20.80/hour

Approximately 4 hours per game
