Job Title: Tugger Operator

Job Overview: The Tugger Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently transporting materials, dollies, racks, pallets, or other required loads throughout the facility using a tugger or tow motor. The operator ensures timely movement of materials between designated areas such as the receiving dock, staging area, production floor, and shipping dock while maintaining operational safety and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Move dollies from Receiving Dock to Zone or assigned floor location
• Once Pickers have loaded dollies with required parts then Tugger Driver would move sequenced dollies to Shipping Dock
• Remove empty dollies from designated returned empty Trailer to designated stationary area per Part Type
• Move dollies from empty floor area to Picker locations

Key Responsibilities:

• Removing loaded dollies (also commonly referred to as racks, pallets or/& dunnage) from Trailer onto Stage Dock for Scan Tech to receive load.
• Move dollies from Receiving Dock to Zone or assigned floor location.
• Remove empty dollies from trailers and place them in designated stationery area per part type.
• Move sequenced dollies to shipping dock once pickers have loaded them.
• Inspect tugger equipment before and after each shift, ensuring it is in proper working condition and reporting any maintenance issues.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper loading/unloading techniques, securing of loads, and safe operation of the tugger.
• Communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and resolution of any operational challenges.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience operating a tugger or similar equipment is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and company procedures.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with others.
• Ability to lift and move materials as needed.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to bend, twist, and reach as needed during material handling tasks.

Monday- Friday
Work Some Saturdays

6:00AM - 03:00PM

Required PPE will be provided

Steel Toed Shoes required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 per hour
