Summary
ForceOne Solutions is seeking a skilled and motivated Electro-Mechanical Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical background with hands-on experience in both electrical and mechanical systems. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
- Work with electrical controls, logic controls, and electrical circuits.
- Ensure compliance with NEC code, including proper conductor sizing (Table 310) and load calculations.
- Calculate load and size proper conductors for circuits.
- Work with diesel engines, including fuel systems, ECM communications, CANbus, and Ethernet.
- Independently layout panels with and without prints.
- Maintain a clear understanding of DC circuits, overcurrent protection, and proper terminations.
Qualifications:
- Strong electrical skills with experience in controls and logic systems.
- Familiarity with NEC code and electrical conductor sizing.
- Knowledge of diesel engine operations, fuel systems, and communication protocols.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Technician or similar role in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge, including HVAC/R systems and hydraulics.
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings effectively.
- Excellent analytical skills with a focus on problem-solving.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
