What are the responsibilities and job description for the Executive Assistant position at Forcepoint?
Forcepoint is seeking a driven Sr. Executive Admin to support the Chief Product Officer and Chief Technical Officer and may be the primary point of contact for additional members of this leadership team. This role will serve as the primary point of contact for all essential Campbell, CA site matters and act as a liaison between the executives and senior management teams. The role requires the ability to make executive decisions quickly, communicate effectively, and maintain professionalism.
Essential Functions
- Maintains the executive’s appointment schedule by scheduling meetings and planning through booking conference spaces, ensuring meeting rooms are properly equipped, and coordinating with meeting attendees
- Assists with meeting agenda preparation through preparing slides, editing, revising presentation materials, and being a source of ideas and recommendations
- Anticipates the executive's needs and proactively contacts appropriate people and resources to support the executive in addressing these issues.
- Communicates clearly and effectively with the executive to keep them well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities
- Assists with travel arrangements, manages agendas, provides necessary contacts, and other necessary preparations
- Completes a wide variety of organizational support including preparing accurate and timely expense reports for travel and provides purchasing support as needed.
- Majority of assigned work will be conducted during standard business hours; however, it is essential that the candidate be available for early morning, late evening, and weekend work as required by the role
- Work from the Campbell site up to four times per week.
Education, Skills and Experience
- Executive Assistant experience at the VP level is required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 7 years administrative experience, with 5 at senior management level
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Attention to detail and proactive mindset
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact and build relationships with employees and management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Must be able to handle confidential information with discretion
Forcepoint is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary and variable compensation range for this role is 137,400.00 - 161,500.00 USD Annual and represents the low and high end of compensation for this position. Actual salaries are determined by various factors including, but not limited to, location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Forcepoint’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include bonuses, paid time off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
