Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Ironworker to join our dynamic construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various welding techniques and the ability to read and interpret schematics. As an Ironworker, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing metal structures and frameworks, ensuring safety and quality standards are met on the construction site.
Responsibilities
- Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications and requirements.
- Fabricate and assemble metal structures using various welding techniques including Stick welding and FCAW.
- Utilize power tools and equipment such as plasma cutters and rigs to cut, shape, and weld metal components.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Conduct regular inspections of materials and equipment to maintain quality control.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area on the construction site.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Ironworker or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in using micrometers, power tools, and welding equipment.
- Strong understanding of construction site safety protocols.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform demanding tasks throughout the day.
