What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laborer - Veneer Catcher position at Forcey Lumber Co., Inc.?
Individual will be part of a 3-man team directly involved with production of sliced Veneers for the Hardwood plywood industry.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Veneer Catcher- Catch and stack veneer from slicer and maintain order/sequence as it is produced Clean/organize pre-& post runs Identify defective product and manage order of sequence. Organize work area after production to prepare for next shift. Assist in preparing raw material to load/unload vats.
Knowledge & Skills: No previous skills required – our team will train the applicant. Must be dependable and have Good overall work ethic. Need to be able to work well with others. Growth potential to motivated individual that is willing to learn.
Work Week: Tuesday through Thursday 2nd Shift -- 2:30pm to 11:00pm
No Weekends or Major Holidays
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
