What are the responsibilities and job description for the Order Mgt Analyst position at FORD COMPONENT SALES?
Ford Component Sales, LLC (FCS) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Ford Motor Company aligned with the Ford Customer Service Division (FCSD). We are a flexible sales organization that directs resources toward revenue opportunities identified by FCSD.
We are in search of a Order Management Analyst that performs multiple functions for numerous lines of business ensuring timely processing of manual and electronic customer purchase orders using various systems and programs. Monitors the integrity of the Item Master in Baan to ensure orders are processed within the Business Plan Review-measured requirements.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Prepares, tracks, and processes incoming customer purchase orders in Baan for manual and EDI transactions
- Prepares correspondence to customers/Sales/Purchasing to assist in the internal and external resolution of order discrepancies. Retains discrepancy approvals for audits of customer contracts/purchase orders (PO)
- Produces customer purchase orders into a sales order acknowledgement to the customer and FCS purchase order to the supplier within 24 hours
- Completes requested amendments for cost, customer sell price, supplier, part number changes, address changes, quantity changes, or any other required update within 24 hours of receipt
- Enters new customer delivery addresses in Baan and requests new GSDB codes as needed. Verifies new GSDB codes set up in the Ford GSDB website match the customer PO and Baan to maintain integrity of the customer names and delivery addresses
- Coordinates and processes billable and sample depot part orders into Baan and the DOW Depot System
- Monitors order discrepancies utilizing tracking tools such as the Pending Outlook Folders, Wolib Log, and various Baan reports
- Adds and updates customer routing, broker information, customer part numbers and contact information in Baan to retain integrity of records
- Peer reviews fields in the Baan Item Master using Item Master peer review session
- Creates and maintains signal codes, item groups, statistics codes, Item Master template parts, and expense parts in the Item Master
- Produces Mod Center orders from spreadsheets for generation of the sales orders and purchase orders in Baan
- Enters new part setup requests for orders in Baan and monitor thru completion
- Enters, monitors, and processes shipper information for special markets scrap program
- Establishes work procedures and standards to improve efficiency and effectiveness of assigned operations. Ensures compliance with corporate standards, review daily work of peers, and meet monthly performance objectives
- Documents and maintains step by step instructions of internal processes and procedures
- Stores all files electronically in a systemized filing format to comply with ISO required retention and document management
- Other duties may be assigned

Bachelor's degree from a four year college or university, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
