Automotive Service Director

Company Overview:
Ford of Harvey is a dynamic and performance-driven company that values its employees and rewards them for their hard work. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as an Automotive Service Director.

Salary: The base salary for this position is $90,000 per year, plus a commission structure that can take annual compensation up to $125,000. This full-time position offers paid semi-monthly payments.

Job Description:
The Automotive Service Director will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our service department, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining sales goals. Key responsibilities include leading a team of technicians, overseeing scheduling and customer satisfaction, maintaining accurate records, and analyzing key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the service department
• Develop and implement strategies to increase service department sales and profitability
• Hire, train, and supervise a team of technicians to ensure efficient and high-quality repairs and maintenance services
• Oversee the scheduling of service appointments and ensure customer satisfaction
• Maintain accurate records of service department activities and financials
• Monitor and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes
• Ensure compliance with all safety and company policies and procedures
• Collaborate with other departments to provide excellent customer service and promote cross-selling opportunities
• Stay updated on current automotive technology and trends to provide knowledgeable and accurate information to customers
• Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner
• Contribute to the development and implementation of marketing strategies to promote the service department and increase sales

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an automotive service or related field
- Previous management experience preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in automotive technology and repair processes
- Excellent customer service and sales skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and automotive software systems
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
