General announcement: Ford Performance Racing School (FPRS) fills a unique role in between the motorsports and car culture worlds. We provide once-in-a-lifetime experiences for car enthusiasts through performance driving programs, using performance vehicles.
Part-Time Positions
AM Shift - 7:00am to 11:00am (3 - 4 days a week)
PM Shift - working a combination schedule of 2:30pm to 5:30pm & 3:30pm to 7:30pm (2 - 3 days a week)
Job Summary: The Operations Host is an integral part of the FPRS West Operations Department. This person is highly visible to our guests for their initial in-person encounter with FPRS West. Critical tasks will include, but are not limited to, welcoming guests, and performing program/reception check-in, assisting with retail operations, set up of classroom and other program areas, restocking items, various cleaning duties.
What you will do:
- Perform set up and clean up for FPRS West programs including:
- Reception area
- Classrooms
- Perform student and guest check-in for programs/receptions
- Handle inbound and outbound front desk calls to assist with inquiries, directions, etc.
- Maintain student awards inventory and award assembly
- Stocking food and beverage locations for program use
- Assist in retail operation (selling, organizing, shipping, inventory)
Knowledge and Skills you posses:
- Ability to interact well with students, guests, and fellow employees
- Demonstrate outstanding hospitality in person and over the phone
- Basic computer skills including familiarity with Microsoft software (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks in the most productive and/or appropriate manner
- Experience with retail point of sale systems a plus
Expectations:
- Adhere to an event-driven work schedule - primarily Sunday thru Friday with evenings, weekends, and some holidays required
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Professionally represent the company in community and industry organizations and events
- Use proper and professional language in the workplace when interfacing with guests or potential clients and when representing the company in an official capacity
- Show respect for others and maintain a positive attitude
- Pass background and drug screening
Physical Demands:
- Be available when needed or as business requires (including holidays, nights and weekends)
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
- Able to be on your feet for long periods of time
- Able to work in all types of weather
- Moderate levels of stress may be associated with this position
