We are looking for a friendly Food Runner to take and deliver orders. You’ll be the face of our restaurant and responsible for our members’ and guests experiences. Food Runner responsibilities include being present in the kitchen when checks are sold and delivering prepared meals to tables. You may also assist servers in pre-bussing and any side work if necessary.
You need to be quick on your feet (literally and metaphorically) and have a polite and friendly attitude. If you enjoy talking to people and thrive in a fast-paced workplace, we’d like to meet you!
Compensation: $12.00 per hour Tips.
Responsibilities:
- Greets guest/members upon arrival; assists with seating as needed
- Maintains cleanliness and sanitation at all times; performs closing clean-up duties
- Handles purchasing transactions, which include operating cash register and accounting of daily sales
- Deliver food orders to our members and guests.
- Double check order to ensure quality and correctness.
- Communicate with server orders that are ready to be served.
- Must be aware and attentive to all verbal and non-verbal communication
- Must be professional and courteous at all times
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a restaurant setting is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills; ability to manage priorities and workflow
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
- Creative, flexible, and innovative team player
- Professional appearance and demeanor
