PURPOSE
Perform a variety of general accounting support tasks utilizing QuickBooks Pro Plus 2024, MS Excel, Word and Teams Outlook. Tasks involve entering and paying bills, enter memorized standard monthly journal entries, bank and credit card reconciling, and assisting with weekly payroll processing. Create and update various accounting reports to review with executive team for analysis and planning. Follow accrual-based accounting concepts and GAAP to achieve Company goals and objectives. Candidate must be neat and well organized.

Responsibilities:
- QuickBooks and Office Suite Proficiency: Utilize QuickBooks Desktop Pro Plus 2024 for financial management, and be adept at using MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Bill Entry and Payment Management: Efficiently manage the process of entering bills into our system and ensuring timely payments, maintaining financial order, and vendor relations.
- Journal Entries: Must be proficient in creating standard journal entries. This includes understanding the principles of debits and credits, making adjustments accordingly.
- Bank and Credit Card Reconciliations: Regularly reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.
- Payroll Contribution: Assist in weekly payroll activities, ensuring that all employees are accurately compensated in a timely manner.
- Report Generation: Develop and maintain accounting reports that are vital for executive analysis and strategic planning.
- Adherence to Accounting Principles: Strong knowledge of accrual-based accounting and GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) is essential.
- Confidentiality and Critical Involvement: Take on responsibilities that involve confidential and critical aspects of the accounting department, demonstrating reliability and integrity in handling sensitive information.
- Education and Experience: Minimum of Associates degree in Accounting, Bachelor's Degree is Preferred and 5 years of Bookkeeping experience (QuickBooks experience preferred). Payroll experience would be helpful.
This is not a remote or hybrid position.
Salary : $65,000 - $70,000
