Maintenance and Repair Tech.
Performs all scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) and emergency maintenance and repair work to facilities and manufacturing equipment. Including realignment of machines
Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, and the physical condition of buildings do not deteriorate.
Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices. Assemble, install and/or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components, plumbing, machinery, and equipment. Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as necessary. Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment in order to diagnose machine malfunctions. Record maintenance and repair work performed and the costs of the work.
Qualifications:
- 5 to 7 year experience of manufacturing and facility equipment preventative maintenance.
- Minimum 3 years experience working with low voltage (120v / 1ph) and high voltage (208/480v 3ph) equipment and controls.
- Experience reading, understanding and follow wiring schematic.
- Working knowledge of plumbing systems
- Experience with basic metal fabrication, cutting and welding.
- Familiarity with the use and maintenance of various pneumatic hand tools
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Satisfactory driving record.
