Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience with Tru Tech CNC Grinders: Prior experience operating and maintaining Tru Tech grinders is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of Grinding Processes: Understanding of different grinding techniques and their applications.
- Ability to Read Blueprints: Ability to interpret blueprints and manufacturing process instructions.
- Familiarity with CNC Programming: Some knowledge of CNC programming may be required.
- Strong Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve problems that may arise during the grinding process.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to work with precision and accuracy.
- Good Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Knowledge of Tool Design: A strong understanding of round shank tool design
- Quality Inspection: Ability to perform quality inspection of tools
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Grinder or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of basic math for measurements and calculations.
- Familiarity with programming CNC machines is a plus.
- Ability to operate forklifts and cranes safely is preferred.
- Experience with fabricating and assembling components is beneficial.
- Knowledge of plasma cutting techniques is an advantage.
