As a member of the Ford Advance EV team, you will collaborate closely with other departments such as Product Management, Design Studio, Engineering, Dimensional, Manufacturing, and Quality to identify and address any issues related to the product concept, production, and launch. From the conceptual stage to production, your expertise will be integral in delivering a flawless experience to our customers.
Responsibilities
What You'll Do :
- Take ownership of Dimensional & Craftsmanship deliverables for the entire attributesvehicle systems or areas.
- Identify and develop team skills to align with Ford's vision.
- Perform thorough benchmarking of best-in-class vehicles to define competitive Craftsmanship targets.
- Develop meticulous DTS documents and ensure alignment with process delivery.
- Train & perform Tolerance analysis for the entire vehicle
- Establish internal GD&T standards in accordance with ASME Y14.5M-2009.
- Define and optimize Datum strategies for better product quality.
- Establish a quality data management platform and help various cross-functional development teams in analyzing the data.
- Perform Virtual builds from the 3D scans.
- Establish sensory targets that elevate user experience beyond physical dimensions.
- Lead and contribute to all cross-functional meetings.
- Design and implement verification testing methods to validate targets.
- Drive resolution of Craftsmanship issues through data-driven negotiation and constructive solutions.
- Support Craftsmanship deliverables through engineering sign-off of vehicles.
- Collaborate with quality functions to ensure targets are understood and measurable.
