In this position...
We're looking for a skilled Robotic / Automation Engineering Specialist (Paint Process) to join our team. You'll be responsible for maintaining and operating over 100 paint and sealing robots across sealer, prime, and enamel processes. This is a challenging yet rewarding role for an experienced professional seeking to contribute to a high-performing team.
Responsibilities
What you'll do...
- Utilize available tools (FIS, QLS, Maximo, etc.) to optimize the operations of the paint automation to meet the quality and volume targets.
- Provide SME support to the Maintenance and Production Teams to optimize the operations.
- Lead projects to improve the overall operations and accommodate future models.
- Assist with the development and execution of preventative and predictive maintenance to ensure equipment uptime targets are met.
- Provide input on new equipment design and purchasing support for new models and equipment launches.
- Support Work Group and Department meetings regarding equipment improvement and JPH actions.
- Work in a rotating AWS shift environment , including nights, weekends, and holidays. Work on either a 5x8 or 4-Crew 12 Hr / Day rotation.
