Ford EVD&D is responsible for developing the key technologies and capabilities - such as EV platforms, batteries, e-motors, inverters, charging and recycling - to create ground-up, breakthrough electric vehicles. Responsibilities
- Design and develop power conversion electronics for electric vehicle applications (component selection, schematic design, and layout design)
- Design and develop mixed signal circuits (analog-digital) for power electronics applications (component selection, schematic design, and layout design)
- Perform complex circuit analysis, magnetics analysis, thermal analysis, and control analysis
- Perform design failure analysis and support functional safety activities
- Hands-on hardware bring-up, troubleshooting, and failure analysis
- Support testing team with development of validation test plans and end-of-line test specifications
- Collaborate with software engineers, mechanical engineers, project management and supply chain within organization meet project deadlines
