Part-Time Riding Instructor Wanted
We’re looking for a passionate and experienced riding instructor to join our team! If you love teaching riders of all ages, working with amazing horses, and creating a safe and fun learning environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
About the Role
This part-time position offers a flexible weekday schedule in the afternoons and evenings, with weekend availability required to meet the needs of our busiest days. You’ll be teaching mounted English Hunt Seat lessons to students of all skill levels, focusing on riders aged 4 and up. In addition to mounted lessons, you’ll also conduct unmounted lessons, teaching students the fundamentals of horsemanship, horse care, and ground handling. We pride ourselves on providing a safe and welcoming atmosphere for riders to grow their skills and confidence while fostering a love for horses.
Key Responsibilities
As a riding instructor, you’ll be responsible for teaching private and small group lessons, ensuring proper horse care during sessions, and creating a positive experience for all riders. You’ll also work with a team of professionals to maintain the high standards of our lesson program. Your expertise in horsemanship and passion for teaching will be key to helping students achieve their riding goals.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate has experience teaching English riding style and working with children as young as 4. You should have a strong foundation in horsemanship and horse care, along with proficient riding skills to demonstrate techniques when needed. An outgoing personality, reliability, and strong communication skills are a must. Candidates must have reliable transportation, a mobile phone for communication, and be at least 18 years old (preferably 21 ).
