The primary responsibility for the File Clerk is to ensure finalized pathology slides are placed into ARCOS tray file system. The File Clerk is responsible for organizing the workflow for finalized pathology requisitions. The File Clerk is also responsible for organizing and scanning pathology logs and shipping labels from clinics into the permanent electronic folder.

Essential Functions
- Sort finalized pathology requisitions to their appropriate location.
- File slides into ARCOS trays.
- Organize and scan pathology logs and shipping labels.
- Adherence to compliance and completion of compliance training.
Qualifications
Education
- No education requirements necessary; perfect for student or other interested in position outside of lab environment
- Must be detail oriented.
- Must possess very good organizational and computer skills.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize appropriately, and work well both individually and as part of a team.
- Ability to use time productively
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
- Ability to communicate in an active multi-office environment.
- Ability to efficiently operate all job-related office equipment (telephone, computer, scanner/fax/copier).
