Job Description:
Forefront Healthcare is seeking a highly organized and experienced Director of Facilities Maintenance to oversee the upkeep of our facilities. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance of utilities, services, critical systems/equipment, and grounds by coordinating reactive issues and preventative maintenance planning.
- Develop and manage systems and processes to maintain and facilitate operations.
- Work closely with the Regional Facilities Director and onsite team members.
- Administer and direct the Facility Management program, managing building maintenance, grounds, real property installed equipment, utilities, and distribution systems.
- Monitor and report on maintenance performance indicators as assigned within the contract/performance work statement.
- Understand and deliver requirements related to The Joint Commission, DNV-GL, ACHC, CMS, and/or other authorities having jurisdiction.
- Keep organized records per the requirements of the contract/performance work statement.
- Plan, organize, and control functions and activities of plant operations along with managing applicable project work and service orders.
- Prepare and manage departmental budgets, including utilities energy savings program.
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Science, or Business Management.
- Have at least 3 years of experience (with a bachelor's degree) / 5 years of experience (without a bachelor's degree) demonstrated experience within the healthcare physical environment.
- Working experience with The Joint Commission, DNV-GL, ACHC, CMS, NFPA, OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory compliance agencies.
- Thorough knowledge of maintenance and engineering systems.
- Must have skills with Microsoft Office products, project management tools, and strong communication skills.
