JOB OVERVIEW
The Sales Associate plays a critical role as the first point of contact for a prospective client at ForeFront Power and supports the sales team and project management team in working with prospective clients to answer their questions about fleet electrification, assess the feasibility of an EV Charging infrastructure project at their business, and aids in the development of a system design and project proposal to help adopt fleet electrification. This position will directly support the growth of our client portfolios and project pipelines. Working collaboratively with a team of development, engineering, legal, and project finance professionals, this position will skillfully influence the decision-makers of our current and future clients in conjunction with the Sales organization’s initiatives.
JOB LOCATION AND REPORTING TO
This position can be either remote or based in either our San Francisco or New York City office. The Sales Associate reports to the Sales Director and works closely with the Marketing department.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage incoming leads and sales pipeline to assess opportunities quickly and efficiently
- Client relationship building
- Cold calling new sales leads
- Assess the economic viability of project proposals and propose ways to increase project revenue streams or reduce costs
- Gather and analyze client information for potential projects
- Develop project proposals
- Interface closely with Finance, Development, Engineering, Legal, and Management to help guide projects forward quickly and efficiently
- Track and evaluate emerging regulatory rulings and assess the potential for market creation
- Evaluate customer savings propositions by analyzing energy data and utility rates
- Skillfully collaborate with all functional groups to maintain (and increase where possible) deal velocity
- Support contract negotiations
- Support fleet electrification customer acquisition in a defined market region or set of regions
- Own a target and meet or exceed that target
QUALIFICATIONS

- Desire to work in an early-stage company in the renewable energy field
- Bachelor's degree required and master’s degree preferred
- Superb oratory and writing skills that take audiences from unaware to aware of what FFP offers
- Desire to cold-call customers and develop prospects for markets
- Strong insight development and value proposition definition skills
- Ability to effectively operate with high energy and flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage diverse relationships and multiple, complex projects simultaneously
- Creativity and critical thinking skills to tackle a variety of challenges from the industry level to client-specific
- Advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
- Fleet Electrification experience a plus
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This position is primarily sedentary in nature and requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk in front of a computer. The position also requires 10% of travel for dedicated events.

Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
