VP OF CLIENT SERVICES
Role Summary
The VP of Client Services is responsible primary for overseeing/managing a portfolio of existing university partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
The VP of Client Services is responsible for:
- Working with a number of key decision makers at each university including presidents, provosts, deans, department chairs, faculty members, and business administrators to ensure the successful initial launch of programs as well as securing additional new degree programs as part of the partnership
- VP of Client Services will be responsible for 3-5 university partnerships (the actual number will be based upon the university and number of degree programs in the portfolio)
Performance Metrics
The VP of Client services will be measured by the success of the degrees within the portfolio at each university. Ongoing interface internally with implementation and marketing teams will be essential to ensure program goals are achieved. These goals include overall profitability of the university that is driven by successfully achieving established budgeted enrollment targets for each degree program in the portfolio. Additionally, the VP of Client Services will also be measured on his/her ability to expand the number of degree offerings offered by each university partner. The expectation is that each university will add a minimum of 1-2 degree programs per quarter. The VP of Client Services will be responsible for achieving a launch cycle for each program of no more than 4 months from the receipt of the original executed contract and/or the receipt of a signed Addendum for additional new programs that are added to the portfolio
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field or an MBA
- Eight to ten years of work experience and proven track record in business development, sales, and/or building strategic partnerships, preferably with universities or other highly complex companies or institutions.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills.
- Ability to work in an extraordinarily fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Understanding of business development principles.
- Experience in managing customer growth.
- Exceptional time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
- Understanding of US higher education trends preferred.
VP of Client Services Representative Activities
- Create and implement a comprehensive plan to acquire new degree programs within the assigned university partners
- Report to the CEO and communicate with Company colleagues as appropriate regarding progress.
- Provide ongoing input into key messaging mechanisms such as marketing collateral, websites, events, etc.
- Generate and help to implement new value-added services the Company may choose to offer its partners.
