About This Opportunity
JOB TITLE : Accounting Analyst II - Treasury
POSITION TYPE : Full time
CLASSIFICATION : Exempt
Hybrid Schedule, Monday - Friday
- Must be onsite in Middleton, Wisconsin 1 day per week.
Position Overview :
This position supports all aspects of daily Treasury activities including initiating financial transactions, monitoring cash flow, reconciling bank accounts, maintaining the corporate credit card program, preparing bank reporting requirements, and monitoring credit facilities. This position is also responsible for the cash forecasting process and variance analysis reporting.
Key Accountabilities :
Execute and ensure proper processing, tracking, and recording of all cash and banking transactions timely and accurately to the daily Excel cash sheet
Update and maintain the daily cash reporting worksheet
Download daily bank activity reports
Evaluate cash needs for the day
Borrow or pay down against the credit facilities as needed
Lead daily Cash Meeting
Update and maintain four-month cash forecast and contribute to cash forecasting strategy
Gather forecasted revenue and expense data from various departments
Break down data into daily format
Perform reasonableness testing on forecast to determine future cash availability
Prepare for and lead daily cash meetings, monthly variance report meetings and monthly long-term forecast meetings with senior management
Reconcile Bank account activities with Oracle
Perform bank account reconciliations and resolve variances with Oracle balances
Enter monthly cash journal entries into Oracle
Tie out Daily Cash Sheet with bank balances
Prepare Bank covenant calculations
Prepare monthly Borrowing Base certificate
Prepare quarterly ratio reporting calculations
Prepare annual and semi-annual reporting requirements
Pay vendor invoices
Process various payment batches in Oracle (ACH, checks, wires)
Generate and send payment file to the bank for processing
Make wire and ACH payments to vendors directly from the online banking portal
Ensure cash is available to cover payments
Notify A / P when payments are returned
Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
2 years of job-related experience, either in accounting or treasury functions
Cash Forecasting experience
Advanced Excel skills
Preferred Qualifications :
Master’s Degree in Business Administration
General Ledger accounting experience
