This position is responsible for inventory management for milk and milk-related products to ensure internal production needs and customer expectations are met.

Position Overview
This position is responsible for inventory management for milk and milk-related products to ensure internal production needs and customer expectations are met.
Key Accountabilities
Manage supply and movement of milk, skim, cream, and whey products:
- Maintaining accurate on-hand inventories, understanding plant capabilities and run rules, customer orders/contracts/agreements
- Participating in purchases and sales of milk and other products
- Making on-the spot decisions, sometimes with limited information, to achieve the best outcomes
- Creating and editing requisitions, sales/purchase orders
- Entering information into 3rd party system for customer and internal milk/cream/skim
- Responding to changes in day-to-day milk movement, emergency situations, transportation issues, plant downtime and customer changes/inquires
- Participating in the on-call rotation for weekends and holidays
- Communicating in a timely manner with Foremost personnel, customers, and suppliers to answer questions, implement changes and resolve issues
- Coordinating with 3rd party transportation companies on product movement and federal order milk qualifying
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate degree in logistics or related field of study, or some college coursework
- 3-5 years of job-related experience
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics or related field of study

- Demonstrate agility and resilience with open mind, flexibility, and support of others in difficult situations.
- Organize work with plans, goals and timelines, prioritization, and time management.
