Position Overview :
The Engineering Coordinator plays a key role in managing and facilitating the execution of capital projects. This position primarily functions as the communicator, coordinator, and processor for all transactions related to capital projects, ensuring smooth interaction and workflow between internal teams (engineering, operations, EHS, accounting, finance, process improvement, etc.), as well as vendors and contractors.
In this role, you will provide administrative support to Corporate and Plant Project Managers, assisting in project documentation, record-keeping, financial tracking, and ensuring compliance with corporate guidelines and project management standards. You will support engineering and plant teams by maintaining consistent communication and project reporting, ensuring all activities are aligned with project goals.
Key Accountabilities :
Project Communication & Coordination
- Proactively communicate with all facets of the project team, including engineering, plants, and accounting.
- Ensure smooth communication with related functions to maintain project efficiency.
- Address any issues or obstacles that arise during the project lifecycle.
- Actively follow up on project status, including POs, invoicing, and close-out procedures.
Purchase Order & Invoice Management
Documentation & Systems Oversight
Project Oversight & Financial Monitoring
