What are the responsibilities and job description for the Workover Rig Personnel position at Foremost well service?
We are currently seeking a skilled Workover Rig Personnel to join our team. The ideal candidates will have experience in various aspects of workover rig operations.
Duties
- Operate workover rig equipment efficiently and safely
- Drive and operate heavy equipment
- Lift, operate, rig-up and down the components of the rig and other equipment used on the location
- Required to position, lift, attach, install and work with casing, drill pipe and associated well equipment such as pumps, swivels, etc
- Operate tongs, elevators, and other related rig tools and equipment
- Physically load and unload pipe or other materials
- Reports any safety hazards, accidents or maintenance issues to the rig supervisor
- Ensures that work carried out is in compliance with company policies and procedures and according to safety regulations
- Work on an elevated surface (tubing board) when needed
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- Depending on the position, ensures all crew members are at work on time and properly prepared, operates the rig and equipment in accordance, ensures efficient maintenance of assigned rig and crew truck, maintains and inspects tools and equipment
- Works the floor or operates the rig when necessary
- Maintains and inspects climbing devices and fall prevention equipment
Required Skills
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work with a team
- Must be able to lift 60 lbs and hand physical demanding work
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.00 - $42.00 per hour
Expected hours: 14 per week
