Description: Construction Project Manager
Position Purpose:

Forerunner Construction Project Manager's are responsible for the day-to-day management of all assigned construction projects, including but not limited to, customer service and communication, vendor selection, materials procurement, scheduling, budgeting, and financial reporting, and quality control. The Project Manager is responsible for working closely with all project personnel and interoffice personnel throughout the process to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. Our management team has placed a strong emphasis on creating a working environment that supports and encourges our employees under a work culture that is rewarding both professional and personally.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Field Duties
- Manage site personnel and subcontractorsSchedule material deliveries with customers and subcontractors
- Approve or reject invoices as appropriate, with proper communication with your project team
- Warehouse receiving and organization
- Site Inspections/Scoping Jobs
- DocuSketch
- Must be able to get on roofs for scoping purposes
- Purchases job materials
- Drive safety, quality, and productivity in the field
- Perform all contracted scopes of work
- Track change orders and all extras on projects via signed change order forms and budget updates
- Supplement approvals and uploads
- Collaborate with adjusters and third party administrators
- Meet or improve upon revenue and profit margin goals
- Responsible for directing, mentoring, and training junior-level team members
- May be heavy lifting at times
- All other duties or projects as assigned.
Office Duties
- Expert in construction project management, financials, processes, and administration
- Ensure all subcontractors are working under a proper subcontract agreement
- Strong writing and oral communication skills
- Strong computer and technology skills
- Create, update, and present project notes daily.
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Efficient in Forerunner's managment software system
- All other duties as assigned by office administration
Qualifications Requirements
- Strong business ethics, integrity, and ability to perform under pressure.
- 3 years full time construction experience is preferred.
- Strong writing and oral communication skills.
- Strong computer and technology skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all project stakeholders and personnel.
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- OSHA 10 or 30, CPR and First Aid experience preferred.
- Must demonstrate mature behavior and have excellent people skills.
- Ability to professionally handle human conflict.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.

Compensation
This position offers a competitive base salary and comprehensive benefits. This position is eligible for Company Truck, Fuel Card, Company Apparel.
