Your primary responsibilities will include installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Mitel telecommunications systems at various customer sites. Requirements
- Installation & Configuration:
- Install and configure Mitel phone systems, including IP telephony, VoIP solutions, and related hardware.
- Set up and integrate telecommunication systems with existing client infrastructure.
- Maintenance & Support:
- Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and software updates to ensure system reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, both on-site and remotely.
- Client Interaction:
- Serve as the primary contact for clients during installation and service calls, ensuring clear communication and understanding of client needs.
- Provide training and support to clients, educating them on system features and troubleshooting techniques.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, installations, and equipment inventories.
- Generate reports on service activities and identify areas for improvement.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with other technicians, engineers, and management to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss project updates and share knowledge on new Mitel products and technologies.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in field service or installation, with a focus on Mitel telecommunications systems.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of telecommunication technologies, including VoIP, SIP, and networking protocols.
- Familiarity with Mitel product lines, such as MiVoice, MiCloud, and other associated hardware and software.
- Certifications:
- Relevant certifications in Mitel products are highly desirable.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Other Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to travel to client sites (local and occasional out-of-state).
