Responsibilities:
- Perform a wide variety of general and semi-skilled tasks such as carpentry, flooring, gutters, painting, drywall, light plumbing, and light electrical.
- Ensure all repairs and services are completed correctly and on schedule.
- Demonstrate superior customer service.
- Ability to identify, diagnose, and fix a variety of maintenance issues and notify management when a licensed professional is needed.
- Loading and unloading building materials and tools.
- Being compliant with all health and safety regulations.
- Keep a record of completed repairs and when the equipment was last serviced.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and systems such as plumbing fixtures, HVAC units, and electrical wiring to ensure optimal performance and make any repairs.
- Inspect the building for any structural damage to windows, doors, and walls, and perform necessary repairs.
- Establish and implement preventative maintenance protocols to keep equipment operations smooth and eliminate safety risks.
- Handle additional maintenance tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in repairs and maintenance preferred.
- Skilled in maintenance activities such as carpentry, flooring, gutters, painting, drywall, light plumbing, and light electrical.
- Ability to work independently and with other team members.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues.
- Ability to communicate well with people.
- Clean driving record and valid driver's license.
- Must have own tools.
- Should be able to demonstrate an understanding of heating and air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems.
- Flexible availability for on-call maintenance requests on nights and weekends.
