Administrative Assistant – Seasonal/20-40 hours
Foresight Business Solutions (foresightcpa.com) is the integrated tax, accounting and business management solution for small businesses. We are looking to hire a part-time seasonal Administrative Assistant position in our King of Prussia office during our tax season.
The work schedule would be 20 to 40 hours per week starting immediately until April 18th, 2025. This could turn into additional work after tax season, but it’s not guaranteed.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Ongoing updates of new and existing clients in the company database.
*Oversee prospect tracking and new client set-up.
*Answer incoming calls for the office.
*Assist accounting staff with ad hoc requests
*Manage calendars, schedule appointments and meetings.
*Order office supplies.
*Maintain confidentiality of information about clients.
*Assist with tax collation for client returns (scanning, bookmarking PDFs, mailing client return packages).
*Assist with other database management requests.
*Collate completed tax returns. Print, sort, and mail completed tax returns to businesses and individual clients.
*Scan tax documents and organize into the firm’s document management system.
* Call and email clients to have them ‘e-sign’ their engagement letters.
REQUIREMENTS:
*Associate’s degree and/or a strong interest in learning the accounting and tax industry are preferred.
*Prefer 1 to 2 years of administrative support experience, but willing to accept someone with a strong interest in career growth.
*QuickBooks knowledge is preferred but not required.
*Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Outlook, Word and Excel, scanning, and Adobe Standard.
*Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to pay close attention to detail.
*High level of professionalism with a strong work ethic.
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
*An enthusiastic team player.
*Have your own transportation as may be asked to drive between Ardmore and King of Prussia offices as needed.
This position offers an hourly rate of $15.00 to $20.00 based on experience.
