What are the responsibilities and job description for the Loadout Operator position at Foresight Energy?
Load trucks and trains. Maintain Loadout area and conveyors. Assist with overall plant production as needed.
Load trucks and trains:
· Communicate with CN and Foresight Logistics as needed for loading and shipping.
· Inspect train cars for safe loading.
· Safely and efficiently operate the rail Loadout to load trains and trucks.
· Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and timely.
. Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office
· Maintain accurate loading records.
· Assist foreman and mechanics as needed to maintain equipment in and around the Loadout area.
· Identify and write up items for maintenance, make repairs during production as required with assistance from Foreman and mechanics. Grease and perform preventive maintenance jobs as required.
· Communicate daily with plant foreman, management and logistics personnel.
Loadout Conveyor
· Inspect Loadout conveyor throughout the week.
· Inspect and maintain belt cleaners as needed, including plows.
· Cleanup in and around the Loadout conveyor as well as the sampling building and Loadout hydraulics and bins.
Operate mobile equipment as needed for maintenance including but not limited to: skidsteers, pay loaders, telehandlers, water truck.
Qualifications:Experience in rail operations or related field, preferred
Available to work 12 hour swing shifts requiring rotating from days to nights every 9 days on a 6 on / 3 off rotation. Must be capable of lifting 50 lbs. on a regular basis and the capability of moving 100 lbs., is necessary. Must be capable of working at elevated heights upwards of 100’ from catwalks and maintenance platforms. Must be capable of navigating around the plant and loadout, up and down stairs as the job requires.
Compensation at an attractive hourly rate of $20.00-$21.28
In addition, there's potential to earn various bonuses based on safety, production metrics, and attendance.
