Aqua Fitness Instructor

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Fitness Instructor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fitness training and a commitment to helping clients achieve their health and wellness goals. As a Fitness Instructor, you will lead engaging classes, provide personalized training sessions, and educate clients on proper techniques and fitness principles. Your expertise in various fitness modalities will inspire participants to enhance their physical abilities and overall well-being.

Responsibilities

• Conduct group fitness classes on the deck of the pool for Seniors in the water.
• Develop tailored fitness programs that align with the expectations of the class format.
• Educate clients on anatomy, physiology, body mechanics, and the importance of proper form to prevent injuries.
• Provide ongoing motivation and support to clients during workouts.
• Monitor client progress and adjust work outs as necessary to ensure continued improvement.
• Promote a positive and inclusive environment that encourages participation from all fitness levels.
• Stay updated on industry trends and new techniques to enhance class offerings.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Aqua Fitness Instructor or similar role in the health and wellness industry.
• Certification and experience in some modaility of Aqua, personal training or group fitness instruction is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate clients effectively.
• Ability to motivate individuals or groups through positive reinforcement and encouragement.
• A passion for health, fitness, and helping others achieve their goals.
• Flexibility to work varying schedules including early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed.
