POSITION SUMMARY
The Intelligence Associate supports the Intelligence and Investigations team under the direction of the Senior Manager and is responsible for identifying threats and providing accurate information to our clients, company leadership, and internal teams.
We are seeking a motivated, curious part-time Intelligence Associate specializing in open-source intelligence (OSINT) to join a growing team at Foresight Security Consulting. Our mission is to provide physical and psychological safety through holistic security solutions. This role is responsible for monitoring, researching, and disseminating potential threats to our security operations and protective services teams. The Intelligence Associate will utilize OSINT tools and methodologies to identify and analyze threats, assess risk, and communicate key information to leadership to enhance the security and safety of our clients. You are a valuable member of the Foresight team and will collaborate with motivated colleagues who bring a diverse set of experiences and background to the team.
JOB FUNCTIONS
- Collect, research, and review OSINT, especially social media platforms, to identify potential threats
- Monitor persons of concern and identify potential threats to clients executive leadership, employees, and organization
- Evaluate and investigate threatening and concerning communications to assess risks to clients and have the ability to communicate escalations
- Actively monitor events (natural disasters, developing situations, civil unrest, etc.) on a global, 24 / 7 basis and disseminate information as needed
- Write brief intelligence and investigative reports on various topics (e.g. persons of concern, travel security, special events) for internal teams and leadership
- Participate in weekly team meetings and other ad hoc meetings and collaborate with team members to discuss cases and coordinate responses.
- Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information as outlined by Foresight policies and legal requirements
