Job Requirements include but are not limited to: Classroom management, ability to work with a team, positive daily interaction and communication with families and staff, following developmentally appropriate lesson plans (curriculum provided), assist children with daily life tasks (diapering, toilet training, feeding, etc), encourage and engage children to stimulate growth and development, practice positive reinforcement, work to learn and meet the unique needs of each child, create an environment that keeps the children safe, have a strong work ethic and be a positive role model for children and staff.
Attend occasional after hours events, including but not limited to family nights, staff meetings, and trainings.
We are looking for applicants with the following skills: reliable, motivated, organized, team player and appreciates the rewards of working with children. You will have on the job training with children 6 weeks to school-age. Your role will be to care for the children in your room, follow our curriculum, and communicate closely with families.
Eligible candidates must have reliable transportation, open availability, be responsible, and display good morals. You must also complete a TB test, a criminal background check, and central registry clearance.
The best candidates will have experience in an early childhood classroom.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
