What are the responsibilities and job description for the Deburring Operator (3rd Shift) position at Forest City Gear Company?
Capable of removing burrs from plastic and metal gearing using brushes, red wheels, files, and other tools as needed.
Essential Job Functions:
- Able to read and understand job traveler work instructions regarding deburring
- Able to utilize various methods to remove burrs form gears including filing and brushing
- Ability to file parts on the lathe
- Ability to use buffer
- Understand and be aware of machinery capabilities and limitations
- Correctly fill out all necessary paperwork
- Accurately count parts
- Time input per job
- Help keep area clean and organized
- Exercise care when handling parts
- Strong communication skills required

Education & Experience:
- Deburring experience preferred
