FOREST CITY GEAR COMPANY is seeking a qualified Precision Machining Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating CNC OD/ID grinders to produce high-quality parts.
Responsibilities:
- Study and determine the part tolerances and methods of measurement for each job
- Ability to run more than one machine maintaining run times as required
- Set-up machines
Requirements:
- 5 years job shop precision OD and ID grinding STRONGLY PREFERRED (centerless grinding not applicable)
- CNC familiarity strongly preferred
- Basic math & geometry skills
- Communication skills to train others as needed
