We are seeking a Full-Time Assistant Director of Nursing (Registered Nurse - RN) to lead our skilled nursing facility in Forest City, PA. This position primarily offers a 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 00 PM schedule, with possible flexibility for other shifts. Salary is negotiable based on experience.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee the operation of the Nursing Service Department, ensuring the highest standards of care.
- Collaborate with the admissions team to interview and screen residents.
- Review documentation to maintain compliance with treatment plans and medication administration.
- Support the Resident Assessment / Care Plan Coordinator in managing MDS processes and implementing care strategies.
- Facilitate orientation for new team members and provide ongoing training for current staff.
- Organize and schedule in-service training sessions with industry speakers.
- Maintain training schedules and ensure all required in-services are completed annually.
- Document and maintain accurate records of training activities.
