Aquatics Specialist

• Assists Aquatics Manager with the training, supervising, and evaluating of Aquatics personnel.
• Directly supervises all aspects of the Aquatics Department and communicates with Aquatics Manager.
• Teaches aquatic programs including but not limited to swim skills, water aerobics, and lifesaving classes.
• Responds to emergency situations, following established emergency protocols.
• Conducts monthly in-service with Aquatics team.
• Maintains accurate records concerning patrons and personnel, and reports concerns to Aquatics Manager.
• Provides open communication with guests, participants and their families, and aquatics team.
• Assumes full management responsibilities of the aquatic’s facility in the absence of the Aquatics Manager and Assistant Manager.

Experience

• 1 - 2 years: Aquatic Instructor experience and/or Water Swim Instructor Certification
• 1 - 2 years: Aquatic or Lifeguard Experience
