What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custodian position at Forest County Potawatomi Community?
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Executes housekeeping duties to include: general cleaning, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, washing windows, disinfecting areas, ect.
- Plans and performs minor repairs and maintains housekeeping equipment.
- Plans occasional painting of walls and ceilings and is able to use a ladder.
- Removes snow/ice from enterances and walkways.
- Maintains effective communication with Manager and co-workers.
Requirements (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities):
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Two year’s work of janitorial experience or related field preferred.
- CPR Certification may be required.
- Capable of using sound judgement and working with minimal supervision.
- Must successfully pass all applicable background checks and drug screens
- Employees working at Health & Wellness: FCP complies with all CMS Mandates & all Health Division employees must receive the COVID-19 vaccine prior to hire. Additional immunization requirements may also be necessary.
