What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mowing Crew Member position at Forest Green Lawn and Landscaping?
Role Overview/ Job Purpose: The Lawn Mower position is responsible for providing high-quality lawncare services for both commercial and residential clients. The primary duties include mowing, edging, trimming, and seasonal clean-ups to ensure properties are aesthetically pleasing and healthy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mow lawns using commercial- grade lawnmowers, ensuring a uniform cut and clean appearance
- Edge sidewalks, driveways, and flowers beds to create crisp, defined lines
- Trim grass around trees, fences, and other obstacles using string trimmers
- Perform light landscaping tasks such as blowing leaves, clearing driveways, and picking up debris
- Maintain and operate lawn care equipment, ensuring it is in good working order and performing routine maintenance (cleaning, oiling, sharpening blades)
- Ensure lawns are left neat and tidy, with all grass clippings and debris removed
- Follow safety protocols while operating equipment
- Maintain a positive and professional relationship with customers, ensuring their satisfaction with the service provided.
- Work closely with the crew leader to meet daily goals and ensure high-quality service.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 35 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
