Role Overview/Job Purpose: The Procurement Manager is responsible for sourcing, tracking, and organizing all plant materials for landscaping projects. This role ensures that plant inventory is maintained efficiently, plants are ordered and prepared for crews on time, and nursery operations run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
Plant & Hardscape Material Procurement & Inventory Management
· Source, track, and order all plant materials and hardscape supplies for landscaping and construction projects.
· Ensure plants and materials are labeled and organized by job for seamless project execution.
· Maintain accurate inventory records and proactively replenish stock as needed.
· Negotiate pricing with vendors and establish long-term supplier relationships for both plant and hardscape materials.
· Pick up plant and material orders from suppliers when necessary.
Nursery & Hardscape Material Yard Management
· Oversee daily nursery operations, ensuring plants are well-maintained, watered, and pest-free.
· Implement best practices for plant care to minimize loss and maximize quality.
· Manage storage and organization of hardscape materials, ensuring crews can efficiently access needed supplies.
· Maintain a clean and structured material yard, including proper storage and inventory tracking.
Collaboration & Communication
· Work closely with landscape designers to ensure plant and hardscape material availability aligns with project bids and designs.
· Communicate material delivery schedules and availability with project managers and crew leaders.
· Suggest suitable plant or hardscape material substitutions when required.
· Handle all communication with plant and hardscape vendors, resolving any order or delivery issues.

· Valid driver’s license with the ability to pick up plant orders as needed.
· Physical ability to lift and transport plants and nursery materials.
