What are the responsibilities and job description for the Snow Removal Technician position at Forest Green Lawn and Landscaping?
Are you looking to earn extra income during the winter months? We are seeking reliable Snow Removal technicians to join our team for the 24-25 snow season. This is an on-call position with work depending on snowfall, meaning you could be called in early in the AM or late at night. If you're dependable and ready to handle snowy conditions, we want you to apply!
Responsibilities:
- Operate snow plows (for drivers) or assist with non-driving tasks like shoveling, snow blowing, and de-icing (for non drivers)
- Assist with snow clearing of sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, and other areas.
- Applying salt or other de-icing materials as needed
- Remain on-call throughout the snow season (availability is crucial)
Requirements:
- Must have reliable transportation
- Available for the entire snow season, including early mornings and late nights
- Ability to work in cold, snowy, and potentially hazardous conditions.
- For plow drivers: valid driver's license and experience operating a snow plow is a plus!
- For non-drivers: must be physically capable of performing manual snow removal tasks
Pay: Based upon experience
There is a possibility of transitioning into a full time position for the 2025 season.
