Our mission - FHPC CCC exists to nurture a love of learning in children, to prepare children for a transition into school, and to build relationships with families in the community by sharing God?s truth and love.

• Encourage positive working relationships between child care center staff and parents

Duties

Job Types: Part-time, Full-time
Job Responsibilities, include but not limited to:

• Supervising young children in a classroom setting
• Creating and implementing lesson plans
• Maintaining a clean learning environment
• Ensure the daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and implementing company standards
• Communicate directly with parents to achieve success for the child
• Maintain a fun and interactive environment

Requirements

Minimum Job Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Have experience in Early Childhood Education or related field
• Satisfactory applicant background per state regulations

Nice To Haves

Ability to commute:

• Richmond, VA 23225: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)
• Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)
• CPR Certification (Preferred)

About Us

The Forest Hill Presbyterian Church Child Care Center is sponsored by the Forest Hill Presbyterian Church and is licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia.

We accept children, ages 18 months through 10 years. The center is open from 7:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. five days per week (and is closed on some holidays).
