Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of trash regularly.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
- Organize and store clean dishes and utensils in designated areas for easy access by kitchen staff.
- Monitor dishwashing supplies and inform management when stock is low.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods, particularly during banquets or catering events.
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation.
Experience
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with restaurant or hospitality settings is a plus, especially in banquet or catering services.
